A pleasant week

This week has been lovely. I haven't had a ton of stuff planned, but each day has been good. My house guest, Amanda, has been a delight to have around. She and I have enjoyed planning menus and cooking together. We had a picnic lunch in my front yard on Tuesday and spent a couple hours reading magazines out in the sun. I had lunch with friends on Wednesday and today. My home group helped do some projects at the church on Wednesday evening and went to the Chief when we were done....it was my first visit of the year...I had that Friday Crunch Sundae - vanilla ice cream with strawberries, chocolate syrup, and pieces of waffle cone...yummmm! I've also been working on some sorting of "stuff" for the garage sale that Mom is going to have later this summer. I'm trying to be realistic about what I might actually wear again and what I'm just hanging on to for nostalgic reasons. I'd love to simplify my wardrobe and all the junk in my guest room!

Amanda and I are hosting several groups this weekend for meals/games/fun, so I should hopefully have some good stories and/or photos to share with you next week. Until later...
